EXPEDITION ITINERARY

Get a taste for what our expeditions are like!

Trip Dates: August 20-30, 2023


Trip Price: $1875 USD

  • $500 USD non-refundable deposit required by March 1, 2023 to reserve your spot, but first come, first served. 
  • Remaining balance of $1375 USD must be paid in full by June 15, 2023.  


Trip Location: 

  • Fly into and out of Manaus, Brazil
  • Travel along the Rio Negro, stopping at many locations including Agua Boa and Nova Esperanca


Trip Benefits:

  • Lodging for 10 days on a well-appointed, live aboard boat for up to 20 passengers
  • Each cabin sleeps 2 (bunk bed) with a private bathroom/shower and air conditioning
  • Daily meals freshly prepared on board and beverages (water, juice) 
  • Transportation to/from the airport on first and last day of scheduled trip
  • Conservation based presentations and workshops on board
  • Observe species in their natural habitats along the Rio Negro and in the Amazon Rainforest
  • Visits to riverside communities
  • Excursions (See Trip Activities below for more details)

Trip Activities:

  • Manaus city tour including fish market and opera house
  • Early morning and night excursions in canoes to observe Amazon wildlife
  • Visits to riverside communities to interact with locals and learn about their culture
  • Hikes in the Amazon Rainforest
  • Snorkeling to see various fish species including cardinal tetras, silver dollars, and even the occasional electric eel
  • Amazon river dolphin encounters
